We spoke with Beth to learn more:

What do you think sets you apart from other employees in your department?

Wow, I think we have an awesome sales team and each of us have our own unique talents. I believe I have a strong work ethic and am very loyal, and I feel that way about all our other salespeople too.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Helping new agents grow as agents and as people. It’s rewarding to watch an agent when they are first starting out in real estate and then still be working with them years later when they are a big producer. It’s also satisfying knowing that you are helping people achieve success and grow within their careers. I’ve also made so many friends for life in this business.

Can you tell us about a time when you went above and beyond for a customer or coworker?

There are many times, I feel I have gone above and beyond for my clients and coworkers. However, I look at it as part of my job, so I don’t like think of it as something to stand out.

What are some of your hobbies and interests outside of work?

I just started playing the bongos (still learning). I love hiking on weekends after football games, and I enjoy reading. I also garden when it’s not summer and I’ve been known to paint rocks too.

What motivates you to come to work every day?

Knowing I’m making a positive impact in people’s lives and playing a role in the American Dream. I feel blessed to do what I do.

What advice would you give to someone just starting in your position?

Remember that you must plant lots of seeds and be consistent with watering and nurturing them. You truly are the gardener of your business. Consistency, follow-up with clients and doing what you say are the keys to success in sales.

What are your future career aspirations?

I’m just happy where I’m at in life and my career. I’m always striving to attain higher levels in business sales and pursue opportunities for continued education. There is always something to learn. Staying open-minded and enjoying my career each day makes me very happy and fulfilled.
