SSS Partners immediately resumed construction on a private academy, multi-sport arena and hotel located at I-17 and Sonoran Desert Drive, adjacent to TSMC. The Texas-based real estate developer acquired the project that was approximately 50% complete in 2023. The SSS Academy campus will be a private sports academy for grades 9-12 that will offer rigorous college preparatory curriculum and athletic training, a multi-sports complex and arena. The 181,000-square-foot facility is situated on 17.5 acres and will have facilities and playing fields to hold tournaments for hockey, basketball, volleyball, soccer and pickleball.
