What do you enjoy most about your job?
Our Title Department is full of phenomenal people. What I enjoy most about my job is the people; we have a great group here at Landmark Title. I truly believe in going above and beyond for customers and coworkers alike.
Can you tell us about a time you went above and beyond for a client or coworker?
A few years ago, I got food poisoning and woke up feeling like I got hit by a bus (and everything else that comes with a bad case of food poisoning.) We had a very big deal at the time that we had been working on for more than two years. I had to review a final round of buyer/lender comments, surveys, proformas, etc., on four separate files set to close the next day. I spent ten hours going through them and getting everything completed – and we closed on time!
What advice would you give someone just starting out in your position?
If I could give advice to someone starting my position, I would say: RUN! Only kidding, of course. I would say patience is key and to always look for opportunities to learn something new. I continue learning new things nearly every day.
What are your future career aspirations?
If the stars align, I think I would like to be an underwriter one day.
What do you like to do outside of work?
When I am not at work, you will find me spending time with my wife and daughter. They are my motivation. Aside from spending time with them, I enjoy football, golf, camping and barbequing.
