Landmark Title is proud to be a sponsor for this year’s AZCLE conference, which will be held July 9 – 12 in beautiful Coronado, California. The annual event presented by the Arizona State Bar Association provides attendees the opportunity to earn a full year’s worth of MCLE credit hours. The three-day program for continued learning offers multiple seminar tracks for earning specialization credits: Civil Practice & Procedures; Probate & Estate; Criminal; Real Estate and Family law. Attendees can also register for an Ethics session and earn three credit hours.
Landmark Title Vice President of Commercial Services David Itzkowitz, who will be in attendance with company President, Vicki Etherton, serves as the co-chair of the Real Estate track. David earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law, is licensed by the Arizona and California state Bar Associations and transitioned his career to escrow and title after spending more than two decades working in real estate law.
In addition to earning MCLE hours and enjoying the amenities at the Hotel del Coronado, those in attendance will have multiple opportunities to network and socialize with attorneys and other industry colleagues, faculty, and judges that will be in attendance. Some of the leading lawyers in their respective specialties serve as the track chairs and faculty that will present and discuss the challenges and issues today’s legal professionals are facing and will provide tools for navigating the legal landscape.
Real Estate Track
The real estate track focuses on the strategies for managing the ups and downs of the economy and changing resources. The three half-day sessions will cover an array of insights and valuable information for managing the real estate transaction process. Day one begins with a discussion on commercial and residential asset class statistics, negotiating development agreements, the changes in ALTA policies, and financing and investment methods. Day two delves into bankruptcy, legislative developments, HOA trends and litigation strategies. The third session discusses water supply issues, solar and wind facilities, negotiating transactions on Tribal lands, and real estate and the cannabis industry.
